IN THIS LESSON
Before Babel. Before Sodom. Before Egypt, Babylon, and Rome…
Before the flood that wiped out an entire generation—there was one quiet, steady voice.
Enoch’s story comes at a time when most had stopped listening. The culture was moving toward chaos, but he was moving toward God.
He didn’t build an ark. He didn’t split seas. He wasn’t a prophet with a megaphone.
He was a man who simply walked with God. And that walk became a prophetic sign for us all.
Testimony Focus: When was the moment you started walking differently?
Who was around you—and who walked away?

Lesson Focus & Talking Points
Core Idea:
Testimony starts in private before it shows in public.
Enoch's life was a quiet fire—a walk that moved heaven. He is a blueprint for believers in any generation where compromise becomes normal.
He shows us: You don't need applause to be approved. You just need to walk with God.
TALKING POINTS (Expanded)
1. “He Walked With God”
Genesis 5 is a death list: “and he died… and he died…”
But Enoch interrupts the pattern. He doesn’t die. He disappears into God’s presence.
His walk was so consistent, God took him as a statement: "This is what I want."
Reflection: What cycle in your family or culture can your walk interrupt?
2. “By Faith, Not Fame”
Hebrews 11 doesn’t praise Enoch’s achievements—it praises his faith.
He’s remembered not for what he did, but for how he walked.
In a world obsessed with fruit, God is still moved by faithfulness.
Some of the greatest testimonies are not visible—they're spiritual legacies.
3. “A Hidden Prophet”
Jude tells us Enoch prophesied about judgment. He warned of what was coming.
His walk became a warning: the world may be fine now, but a reckoning is coming.
This was 300+ years before Noah. God was already calling people back.
Challenge: Can your walk preach without words?
4. “Testimony Before Judgment”
God never sends judgment without witness. Before the flood came, He raised Enoch.
Before Babel was scattered, He had Noah. Before Sodom was burned, He had Abraham.
In every generation, God plants a testimony before the shaking.
Will you be the Enoch of your generation?
Testimony Theme:

CLOSING PRAYER (FOR SMALL GROUP OR YOUTH LEADER TO READ ALOUD)
"Father, thank You for the life of Enoch. Thank You that long before You judge a world, You raise up witnesses.
Teach us how to walk with You—not just when people are watching, but especially when they’re not.
Give us the courage to live as prophetic testimonies in a culture of compromise.
Let our silence be filled with faith. Let our private lives preach.
Raise up a generation that walks with You until the world can’t hold them anymore.
Amen."
